Product of the Day: Rinaldo's Garlic Gold Oil

Behind the Burner: Product of the Day: Rinaldo\'s Garlic Gold Oil

Extra virgin olive oil has undeniable health benefits because it is less processed than regular olive oils. In general, olive oils are generally considered to have the most health benefits, but it's often hard to differentiate between products. If you're looking for an extra virgin olive oil with extra flare, try Rinaldo's Organic Garlic Gold Oil.

Each tablespoon is filled with full garlic flavor. Unlike other garlic olive oils, the flavor is not overpowering or hot. Best of all, you can count on getting the richest flavor from Rinaldo's Garlic Gold. It's produced on Seven Oaks Ranch in Ojai Valley, specializing in cultivating garlic.

Tip: Try sauteeing vegetables in this olive oil for extra flavor or add it to salad dressings for an extra kick!

Product of the Day: Lucini Infused Oils & Vinegars

Behind the Burner: Product of the Day: Lucini Infused Oils & Vinegars

We can't stress it enough: if you're looking for quick and easy ways to save money in the kitchen, learn to invest in a few quality products that you'll use daily and then cut corners when it comes to everything else. And if there are two products you can bank on using every day, it's a good olive oil and a high quality balsamic vinegar.

But if you want to add extra flavor to salads, marinades and pastas without spending extra money, try using an infused olive oil or balsamic like Lucini. Made from quality ingredients like 100% natural Tuscan olives and Trebbiano grapes aged in chestnut barrels, these are definitely worth the money. My current favorites include the garlic-infused olive oil and the black cherry-infused balsamic, and I've been drizzling them over everything from roasted chicken to potatoes to desserts (yes, even desserts).

Technique: Reduce 1/2 cup of the black cherry balsamic vinegar in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches a syrupy consistency, then drizzle it over fruit salads for a flavorful alternative to chocolate sauce.
