Behind the Burner: White Pizza from the Health Master Blender with Chef Claire Winslow

Makes 8 servings

INGREDIENTS:

Dough:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. honey, clover
1 tbsp. yeast, instant
3/4 cup of water

Topping:
1/2 cup broccoli bunch
4 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp. olive oil, extra virgin
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup ricotta cheese, fat-free
1 cup baby spinach

PREPARATION:

Dough:
1. Attach HealthMaster Pitcher to Base and rotate clockwise to lock in place.

2. Add dry ingredients into the pitcher. Secure and lock the lid without the cap.

3.Press On Button. Increase the Speed to 4. Press Run button. Add wet ingredients to the Pitcher while motor is running. Allow to run for 5 to 8 seconds only. Press Stop button.

4. Increase Speed to 8. Pulse 20 times until mixture becomes a crumbled texture.

5. Remove the lid. Pour the dough into a bowl. Turn the gear end of the blade under the pitcher to get all dough out.

6. Knead the dough into a ball on a floured surface. Place the dough back into a covered bowl.

7. Let the bowl and dough sit in a warm place for approximately 45 minutes or until doubled in size.

8. Roll the dough out to form a pizza shell.

Topping:
1. In a sauté pan, sauté the garlic and broccoli until tender

2. Spread the ricotta cheese all over the pizza. Sprinkle the mozzarella around the pizza on top of the ricotta. Then place the Spinach and the cooked broccoli on top.

3. Place the pizza into a 450 degrees oven until golden brown, or for about 10-15 minutes.
