Veggie Packed Green Salad by Divya Gugnani

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped orange bell pepper
2 packages mixed salad greens
2 chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. sea salt
3 tbsp. balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing

PREPARATION:

1. Sauté onion and bell pepper until soft; set aside to cool.

2. In a large salad bowl, combine the onion, pepper, salad greens, chicken and tomato.

3. Sprinkle with the onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper and salt. Toss to mix.

4. Pour on enough balsamic to coat, toss again and serve.
