Three Cheese Garlicky Loaf by Divya Gugnani

Makes 6 to 8 servings

INGREDIENTS:

3 Cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
10 slices of swiss cheese
1/4 Cup of mozzarella balls
1 Cup of sharp cheddar or Munster cheese
1/4 Cup sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 Cups milk
1/4 Cup vegetable oil
1 egg

PREPARATION:

1. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and Swiss slices.

2. In another bowl mix liquids. (milk, oil and egg)

3. Stir liquid mixture into dry ingredients just until moistened.

4. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

5. Bake at 350 degrees F for about an hour or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

6. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
