Behind the Burner: The Original Manhattan Cocktail by Mixologist Jason Kosmas

Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. Rittenhouse 100° Rye Whiskey
1 3/4 oz. Cinzano Rosso — Italian (Sweet) Vermouth
1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Lemon twist

PREPARATION:

1. Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass. Add large, cold ice cubes.

2. Using a bar spoon, stir for 40 revolutions. Strain into a chilled martini-cocktail glass.

3. Garnish with a lemon twist.
