Sweet Sesame Dip by Divya Gugnani
Makes 6 servings
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup light mayonnaise
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup honey
3 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
2 tbsp. toasted almonds
1 tbsp. grated fresh ginger root
1 small clove garlic, minced
3/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
PREPARATION:
1. Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar and honey in small bowl. Add remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
2. Dip may be stored tightly covered in refrigerator up to 1
week.
3. Serve with assorted fresh vegetables or over grilled chicken or shrimp.
