Strawberry Basil Margarita by Divya Gugnani
Makes 4 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup hulled strawberries
1/4 cup tequila
1 tablespoon orange-flavored liqueur
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoons white sugar
3 large basil leaves
8 ice cubes
PREPARATION:
1. Combine the strawberries, tequila, orange-flavored liqueur, lime juice, sugar, and basil leaves in a blender.
2. Mix on low speed until smooth. Add the ice and puree until the ice is crushed, 30 to 60 seconds.
3. Pour into chilled glasses and serve.
