Behind the Burner: S'mores Soup by Divya Gugunani

Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup milk
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp. light brown sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
4 graham crackers (split in half)
1/2 cup mini marshmallows


PREPARATION:

1. Heat all but 2 tablespoons of the milk and the cream in a saucepan. Turn off heat before mixture boils.

2. In a medium, bowl mix the cocoa, sugar, salt, vanilla, cinnamon and the remainder of milk and cream. Pour the cocoa mixture into the hot milk and cream mixture and blend well.

3. Pour mixture to bowl. Garnish with graham crackers and/or mini marshmallows.
