Behind the Burner: Garlic Lemon Broccoli by Divya Gugnani

Makes 5 servings

INGREDIENTS:

2 heads of broccoli
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. light olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
3 tbsp. freshly-sqeezed lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste


PREPARATION:

1. Steam broccoli for 5-6 minutes until tender.

2. Heat butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat; add the garlic and saute for 1 minute.

3. Add the cooked broccoli, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle olive oil over broccoli, mix and cook briefly to combine ingredients; serve.
