Behind the Burner: Crunchy Trail Mix by Divya Gugnani

Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup unsalted cashews
1 cup unsalted almonds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup dried cherries
1 cup dried cranberries
1 tsp. pure maple syrup
1 pinch sea salt

PREPARATION:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Toss the cashews, almonds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds in the maple syrup and spread in a single layer on the baking sheet.
3. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
4. Toss with the dried berries, sprinkle with salt and serve.
