Chunky Guacamole by Divya Gugnani

Makes 6 servings

INGREDIENTS:

4 ripe avocados, diced
3 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 lemon)
8 dashes hot pepper sauce
1/2 Cup red onion, diced
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 medium tomato, seeded, diced
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1/4 Tablespoon cillantro for garnish

PREPARATION:

1. Cut the avocados in halves, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh out of their shells into a large bowl.

2. Immediately add the lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper and fold well. Use a big fork if necessary.

3. Add the tomatoes. Mix well.

4. Season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with cillantro and serve immediately.
