Chicken Lajawab by Vicky Vij

INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. boneless chicken
4 cardamoms
1 cinnamon stick
6 cloves
2 tbsp. garlic paste
1 tbsp. chopped garlic
2 tsp. ginger paste
1/2 cup sliced onions
4 tbsp. corn oil
1/2 tbsp. chili powder
PREPARATION:
1. Cut chicken into bite-size pieces.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic. Add onions, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom, and sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
3. Add ginger, garlic paste, chicken and chili powder. Stir for 5 minutes.
4. Add 2 cups water and bring it to a boil until the chicken is tender. Cook another 8 to 10 minutes and your chicken cooked through.
