Bacon Bean Wraps

Behind the Burner: Bacon Bean Wraps

Makes 8-10 servings

INGREDIENTS:

10 oz. frozen green beans
2 slices turkey bacon
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup mushroom gravy
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup water

PREPARATION:

1.Chop bacon into smaller pieces and fry, then set aside.
2. Sauté onions in bacon fat and mushroom gravy until tender.
3. Add water, beans and salt.
4. Wrap marinated string beans in bacon
5. Over low heat, cook for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
6. Serve with toothpicks
