Baby Octopus Munchies by Divya Gugnani

Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups octopus meat
2 eggs
2 tsp dill weed
2 tbs finely chopped onion
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2-3 cup of marinara sauce


PREPARATION:

1.Boil fresh octopus for at least 10 minutes. Remove skin. The skin and suckers will "slip" off the tentacles when it is cooked.
2.Prepare cooked octopus for tidbits by grinding as you would to make a hamburger patty.
3.Mix ingredients together. Form into balls no larger than 1" in diameter.
4.Roll in bread crumbs.
5.Pan fry in margarine until golden brown.
6.Garnish with lemon and dip in marinara sauce.
