Applesauce Cookie Treats by Divya Gugnani
Makes 10 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 cup quick oats (not instant oatmeal)
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup applesauce
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
PREPARATION:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Mix the dry ingredients in the largest bowl. Mix the wet ingredients in the other bowl. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix well.
3. Each cookie should be about a heaping spoonful. Put them onto the greased cookie sheets.
4. Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
