Vincenzo Marianella
A native Italian, Vincenzo Marianella has spent his adult life perfecting the craft of mixing cocktails. Working his way through Los Angeles, New York, and Australia, where he attended the Australian Bartending Academy, Marianella officially declared tending bar his career while working at Smollensky's in London. Taking advantage of London's bar scene, Marianella adapted the techniques from the bartenders in some of London's most prestigious watering holes, including his mentor, Salvatore Calabrese, London's leading bartender.
When Marianella moved back to the United States, he spent months in search of the perfect establishment to create his adult concoctions. He met his match in Los Angeles working the bar at Providence. Here, the Los Angeles magazine made his drink "Rhode Island Red" 2005's Best Summer Cocktail.
Since, Marianella has been placed on a pedestal in the bar world. He has recently become the Head Barman at Copa d'Oro in Santa Monica, California.
