Snack Attack: What Are Some Healthy Handfuls Between Meals?
Tip: Cheese fry craving
If you are craving a batch of greasy, comforting, oozing cheese fries, don't break the calorie bank. Instead take a whole wheat pita and cut it into triangles. Dirzzle with olive oil. Bake for about 10 minutes at 375. Add fat free cheddar cheese and put back into the oven until melted. Top with fat free sour cream and you have a tasty treat that will bust that craving without busting your waistline.
Did you know?
Tip: If you are not hungry in the morning, do breakfast anyway. But skip the muffins! An apple or banana and you are on your way. Remember what they say: even an apple a day can keep the doctor away. Your blood sugar levels (and waistline) will thank you later.
