Behind the Burner: Whiskey Business

In honor of St. Patty's Day, Behind the Burner has teamed up with Tullamore Dew to bring you a trio of seasonal, super-drinkable Irish whiskey cocktail recipes. With the brand's new 10-Year-Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey—its first single malt whiskey in a 180-year history —we've got your libations options well covered. Tip: Tullamore Dew is the #2 Irish whiskey globally and has won over 20 medals at international spirits competitions in the last eight years. After all, this is the one day of the year when we're all at least a little bit Irish!

Forget the green tinted Buds come Wednesday! Check out these easy recipes below and get in the whiskey spirit. Technique, this medium deep, amber-gold whiskey's rich flavor comes from carefully monitored maturation in Old Bourbon, Dry Oloroso Sherry, Madiera and Port casks. If you're worried that "the drop of the Craythur" might challenge your Thursday morning, don't forget this Irish saying: "An Irishman is never drunk as long as he can hold onto one blade of grass to keep from falling off the earth."

Tullamore Dew's new 10-Year-Old Single Malt is available nationally for $39.99.
