A day of homage to those who have passed away in order for us to live better as a nation, as well as an excuse to be a nation of overindulgence. This year, why not perk up the traditional Memorial Day menu with a few gourmet recipes from Behind the Burner?

1. Jalapeno Blue Cheeseburger
Heat up your time-honored cheeseburger by adding a few jalapenos. Replacing your all American cheddar cheese by mixing in some blue cheese, allows your burger to have a complimentary flavor in every mouthful.
